Optional Features

  • Agile Virtual Local Area Network (VLAN) — Enables use of HAIPE® security features on Layer 2 VLAN/Non-IP Ethernet traffic while simultaneously supporting standard HAIPE encryption of IP traffic. Benefits include:
    • Elimination of GRE tunnels
    • Redundancy and load balancing
  • Deep Packet Inspection (DPI) — DPI is a cyber security feature that provides signature-based sensing capabilities. With the DPI feature enhancement, the TACLANE-1G performs signature matching and netflow functions as well as issues alerts for management. This feature is expected to be available in 2013.
