Network Encryption

The high-speed TACLANE® IP and FASTLANE® ATM/SONET Encryptors are certified, proven and deployed worldwide to protect critical networks and information. These encryptors offer reliable, feature-rich, high-speed, mobile security solutions for your application, environment, network and size requirements.

The TACLANE Family of encryptors are:

		TACLANE®-Micro (KG-175D) — TACLANE-Micro is a high-speed (200 Mb/s aggregate), compact and mobile network encryptor. Designed for tactical environments, the Micro is equally suited for desktop use or can be rack mounted. At 4.25 lbs, the TACLANE-Micro is ideal for any environment. Available as a new unit, or as a trade-in for your TACLANE-Mini, TACLANE-Classic, TACLANE-E100 or Sectéra® INE.
		TACLANE-GigE (KG-175A) — TACLANE-GigE, the encryptor chosen as the GIG-BE security solution, provides secure communications at 2 Gb/s aggregate throughput, enabling high-bandwidth applications.
		TACLANE-Mini (KG-175B) — The TACLANE-Mini is no longer available for purchase, however product maintenance and technical Help Desk support will continue. The TACLANE-Micro is recommended when high-speed encryption (200 Mb/s aggregate) in a compact, low profile box is needed. The TACLANE-Mini may be traded in for a new TACLANE-Micro.
		TACLANE-Classic and TACLANE-E100 (KG-175) — The TACLANE-Classic and E100 are no longer available for purchase, however product maintenance and technical Help Desk support will continue. The TACLANE-Micro is recommended when high-speed encryption (200 Mb/s aggregate) in a compact, low profile box is needed. The TACLANE-Classic and E100 may be traded in for a new TACLANE-Micro.
		FASTLANE® ATM/SONET Encryptor (KG-75A) — The FASTLANE is the fastest NSA certified, Type 1 ATM network encryptor in the world. It provides high-speed, low latency security for multi-media applications. With throughput speeds up to 10 Gb/s (OC-192) and SONET capabilities for interfaces OC-3/12/48, FASTLANE can protect your classified data cost effectively over a public network.
		GEM X™ Encryptor Management — GEM X is the latest GEM network management software product for HAIPE v1.3.5 encryptors. GEM X is SNMP-based and operates on a Windows XP® or UNIX® Solaris™ 10 workstation and manages up to 500 TACLANE network encryptors. It includes an enhanced user interface that is intuitive and easy-to-use. The terminology and menu structure are consistent with previous GEM versions and TACLANE encryptors, eliminating the need for additional user training.

Trusted Virtual Environment (TVE) Desktop

The Trusted Virtual Environment (TVE) Desktop, a member of the General Dynamics High Assurance Open Scalable Technology (G.H.O.S.T.) suite, offers affordable and easy-to-manage multi-level and cross-domain capabilities to end-users in a desktop or console form-factor. It allows the end-user to have multiple windows of entire operating systems, such as Microsoft® Windows® or Linux®, running in different security domains such as Top Secret, Secret and Unclassified.*

Secure Personal Communication Devices

Sectéra® personal communication devices provide Type 1 high assurance end-to-end secure communication solutions for GSM, CDMA, ISDN, PSTN, VoIP and satellite networks. For users not requiring Type 1 security, TalkSECURE™ Wireless and Wireline products implement interoperable AES only. More than 60,000 devices are deployed worldwide.

		Sectéra vIPer™ Universal Secure Phone — The vIPer phone is the only phone designed to protect Top Secret communications for Voice over IP networks. The vIPer universal secure phone supports the latest VoIP technology, including Power over Ethernet (POE), Cisco® SCCP (Skinny Call Control Protocol), SIP (Session Initiation Protocol)*, and Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN)* and all from one easy-to-use desktop phone.
		Sectéra Edge™ SME PED — The Sectéra Edge converges secure wireless voice and data by combining the functionality of a wireless phone and PDA — all in one easy-to-use handheld device. Developed for the National Security Agency’s Secure Mobile Environment Portable Electronic Device (SME PED) program, the Edge is certified to protect wireless voice communications classified Top Secret and below, as well as access email and websites classified Secret and below, including the SIPRNET/NIPRNET. The Sectéra Edge is the only SME PED that switches between an integrated classified and unclassified PDA with a single key press.
		Sectéra GSM Phone — This wireless phone allows users on-the-move to make Type 1 or regular calls from the same device. Designed for commercial and private GSM networks, coverage is available worldwide.
		Sectéra Wireline Terminal (SWT) — The Sectéra Wireline Terminal is a compact, lightweight device used to encrypt communications from a phone, fax or PC. The convenient size is ideal for users in the office or on-the-move. Bundled with the Sectéra ISDN Adapter Kit, the SWT also provides secure communications for ISDN networks. The Wireline Terminal with Black Digital Interface (BDI) can be used to protect satellite communications. The Wireline Terminal can be used with a commercial Group 3 fax machine to exchange classified documents while on a secure call by simply switching modes. Group 3 fax machines use commercial standards and are commonly available. The Wireline Terminal now comes with a three-year warranty.
