Supplier Diversity Program
Small Business, Small Disadvantaged Business, Women-Owned Small Business, Veteran-Owned Small Business, Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, Historically Black Colleges and Universities, Minority Institutions, and HUB Zone Program
To establish mutually beneficial relationships we actively seek small businesses, including those owned by minorities, women, and veterans, capable of providing products and services in our supply chain.
The charter of the Supplier Diversity Program is to assist diversity suppliers in the United States who are pursuing business from General Dynamics. We are here to help businesses that are certified or working toward certification as diversity suppliers to understand what is expected of our suppliers.
Refer to the Small Business Administration's, "What is a Small Business" website at www.sba.gov/size/ for help in determining what constitutes a small business concern.
Outreach & Initiatives
We participate and sponsor numerous business opportunity fairs and conferences throughout the country, and are also members of several business councils aimed at introducing diversity suppliers' business concerns.
We also participate in the Department of Defense Mentor-Protégé Program to provide developmental assistance to small disadvantaged businesses.
What to Expect – How to Apply
If your business meets the qualifications and would like to pursue a business relationship with us, please enroll in our Supplier Diversity Program.
- 1. To register visit the General Dynamics website (www.generaldynamics.com/suppliers), you will see the registration link on the lower right side of the page. If you have not previously registered you will not have a username and password so you can ignore the “user login” and click on “not registered yet”.
- Follow the instructions on the registration site to complete an on-line Supplier Capability Profile. Refer to the “quick registration guide” for assistance in completing your profile.
Please provide literature regarding your products and services and any business certifications from an agency such as the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) or local purchasing council (i.e., small, women-owned, disadvantaged, etc.) directly in your profile.
- Supplier registrations in this portal will be visible to employees across the General Dynamics corporation.
- If there is interest in your products, then you may be contacted by the buyer directly or you may receive a Request for Information or Request For Quotation (RFQ). If we have no current need, then your information will remain in our database for future requests.
Thank you for your interest in doing business with General Dynamics. We look forward to working with you in our efforts to achieve a strong and diverse supplier base.
If you are considered a small, disadvantaged, woman owned, veteran, service-disabled veteran or HUB Zone business and are not registered with the SBA Pro-Net database, then visit the SBA Central Contractor Registration (CCR) site at www.ccr.gov to self-register. Registration is extremely important; our first preference in all subcontracting opportunities is with firms certified by the SBA.
