Ground Solutions
We’ve been providing ground-based solutions for more than 30 years to bring the value of satellite systems in space down to the users on Earth. They include:
- Integrating satellite ground networks for communication and navigation such as the U.S. Navy’s Mobile User Objective System (MUOS)
- Delivering essential satellite and mission operations support for NASA's Tracking and Data Relay Satellite System (TDRSS) and the U.S. Navy’s Naval Satellite Operations Center (NAVSOC)
- Satellite antennas for fixed and mobile communications
- Creating customized SATCOM solutions for federal and military customers utilizing the Iridium® global communications system
- State-of-the-art SpacePlex® space and communications services facility in Las Cruces, N.M., providing customers satellite engineering, command/control, satellite monitoring and back-up services, teleport services, network management, data management and operational maintenance support.
Space Encryption Solutions
General Dynamics C4 Systems is a leader in the design, development and manufacturing of state-of-art space encryption products needed for mission-critical applications.
General Dynamics C4 Systems’ space-based encryptors are successfully employed in numerous space missions. Our high-speed, space-based, Type 1-certified encryptors, and corresponding ground encryptors, are suited for large bandwidth data transmission. We also support the special encryption and protections needed for Telemetry, Tracking, and Control (TT&C) communications. We are exploring the application and space-qualification of our ground-based HAIPE® encryptor technologies for in-space HAIPE needs.
