Joint Network Node (JNN)
Advanced Networking Capabilities Now

Overview
The Joint Network Node (JNN) is a Joint-compatible communications package that allows the Warfighter to use advanced networking capabilities, retain interoperability with current force systems, and keep in step with future networks (ie WIN-T). The JNN provides a suite of voice, video, and data communication tools designed to meet the needs of Division, Brigade and Battalion Command Post (Bn CP) structures. It is a rapidly deployable, early-entry system housed in an S-250 shelter and mounted on an ECV HMMWV for roll on/roll off mobility.
Benefits:
- Design commonality minimizes cost and risk
- Provides Internet-based connectivity to the warfighter
- Seamless interoperability with current and future tactical networks
- Supports satellite and land-based connectivity
- COTS/GOTS based equipment
- Side by side with the soldier in training and field support
